Admission into HLS – Williamsburg is a three-step process. Families complete an application, attend an interview, and upon successful admission, students are officially enrolled. Please note that completing an application and a family interview are not a guarantee of admission.

STEP 1: Application

Complete one application per child. Once your application has been received, we will contact you to schedule an interview.

STEP 2: Interview

All prospective families are interviewed to ensure that the curriculum and learning environment of HLS – Williamsburg are a good fit. During the interview, we will meet with both parents and students and will administer academic and readiness assessments.

STEP 3: Enrollment

Once your interview is complete, we will notify you about your enrollment status. Following successful admission, the Registration Fee of $200 per child is due. Your child will be officially enrolled and placed in a class once payment is received.

We believe in the specific benefits of wearing uniforms. Uniforms foster academic focus and a feeling of dignity that unifies students and supports our school culture. Neatness in outer dress and appearance reflects inner focus and discipline.

All students must purchase a basic uniform package. Additional uniform options are available but are not required. Students must wear the basic uniform each school day. Boys may choose to wear either pants or shorts but must be dressed appropriately for outdoor play. Additional uniform options such as vests and hairbows are always permitted.
