Memory work, calendar, phonemic awareness, fine- and gross-motor skills, number and alphabet lessons, classical children’s read-aloud stories, traditional music, poetry, and games

Kindergarten and Grade 1

First Start Reading, Primary Phonics readers, Core Skills Phonics K and 1, Spelling Workout, copy work, arithmetic and speed drills, Bible story time, memory work, science, social studies, classical music, art, and poetry appreciation, and classic children’s read-aloud picture books

Grades 2 and 3

Prima Latina, Core Skills Phonics 3, Spelling Workout C, The Courage of Sarah Noble, Beatrix Potter Collection, Little House in the Big Woods, Mr. Popper’s Penguins, arithmetic and speed drills, Stories of Great Americans for Little Americans, Patterns of Nature, copy work, Bible story time, memory work, classical music, art and poetry appreciation, and classic children’s read-aloud stories

(Required summer cursive program: New American Cursive I)

Students in Lower Grades will participate in a music appreciation and theory course.
