Logos: The Tradition of Classical Learning
Highlands Latin Fredericksburg is excited to announce our spring event titled Logos: The Tradition of Classical Learning. This event combines our second annual Memoria Press Spring Mom’s Day, with our second Highlands Dinner Series event.
The Mom’s Day portion will bring together new and experienced homeschool parents who use the Memoria Press curriculum. We will discuss the traditional understanding of classical learning, while offering each other tips, tricks, and much needed support. Please join us for a community-building day of presentations, discussion, and curriculum planning. Registration includes coffee, drinks, snacks, and prizes of Memoria Press curriculum. Participants should bring their own lunches.
The Dinner Series portion repeats our format of bringing together parents, teachers, administrators and fans of classical education to discuss how to increase our understanding and practice of classical education in the Fredericksburg area. This evening session is open to a general audience of classical educators whether working in a home or school environment.
Plan to join us for the entire day, or for whichever portion suits your needs.
We are pleased to be able to welcome many local Classical educators as our speakers and workshop leaders:
