We are honored and excited that you would consider joining us at Highlands Latin School Charleston!
Our application is linked on our website during enrollment season (early January through mid-February for new families). After current families have had the opportunity to re-enroll, applications from new families are reviewed, and parents are invited to bring their children to school for interviews and assessments. Offers of admission are made in March. Students entering grades 4-12 complete the admission process by taking the Classic Learning Test in April. We do not offer scholarships, but HLS is an ESTF service provider. Please see our Tuition page for more information.
In order for your application to be fully processed, please walk through the following steps:
- Attend an open house to attend morning chapel, visit classrooms, browse curriculum, and ask questions.
- Apply January 1 – February 13 and submit the application fee here.
- Come for an interview and assessment: February 16 – March 2.
- Receive an admission decision by March 6th.
- Reserve your spot by paying your registration fee by March 20th.
- Students entering grades 4 and above come for Classic Learning Test (CLT) administration on April 10th from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Make-up date is April 17th.) Please click here to learn more about the CLT exam.
